Hi, I'm Pima! I'm a licensed English-speaking guide in Hangzhou. I moved to Hangzhou from northern China in 2012, drawn by its lakes, tea mountains, and the weight of a thousand years of poetry.

My background isn't your typical guide story. I started as a journalist, then became the only content strategist in a marketing department before I found my true calling: telling stories about places. I'm also a museum docent and a bird watcher, which means I spend my off hours in galleries and nature.

What I bring to a tour: It's the result of hundreds of books, academic papers, and conversations with local elders. I specialize in the Dynasties in China, and the old shiny civilization. My tours are built on stories. Ask me about tea and I'll take you to the actual source. Ask me about history and I'll show you where poets once carved their verses into stone. Ask me what else I love and I'll tell you: birdwatching, stargazing, 3D printing, and finding quiet corners of this city that even locals don't know exist.
