About Tour Guide Noboru S.

Hello, everyone! Welcome to Japan. My name is Noboru. I’m a national licensed guide. I was born in Osaka and spent my university student life in Kyoto. And now I have been in Himeji for over 35 years. These cities are in Kansai aea. So,I'm very much familiar with the sightseeing spots and attractions in the area, especially Himeji and its neighboring cities.

If you are looking for someone to show you around the area, please join my tour. I will show you special local dishes in the area as well.

Looking forward to seeing your smile soon.

Important

I guide you in Wakayama, Kumano, Koya-san and Shiga if you pay my transportation fee from Himeji.

Great day with Noboru!

We really enjoyed our tour of the Himeji castle with Noboru! He met us at the train station, gave a walking tour on the way to the Himeji castle and showed us the castle and gardens. Noboru is kind, patient and very knowledgeable. It was fun to hear all the stories he's shared with us! A pro-tip to visitors - bring thick socks when visiting the castle during colder months, as you will have to remove footwear to enter the castle. The Himeji castle is a must-see when visiting Japan, and Noboru was a perfect guide to show it to us!

amazing tour

Noboru did an amazing tour with us in Himeji. He shared so many interesting stories and showed us hidden „secrets“ which made the tour very rewarding and a highlight for us. He is a very kind and attentive person and to spend time with him has been extremely enjoyable! We do highly recommend him.

Thank you very much for your wonderful review. I’m so happy to know you enjoyed my tour in Himeji. The weather was perfect, the autumn leaves were so beautiful. I am sure you took a lot of wonderful pictures. I also enjoyed your company very much. Hope to see both of you again next time you come back to Japan!

Excellent Customized Tour of Tatsuno

Noboru let us on a wonderful tour of Tatsuno. He customized it for us to see the most important sites for us (my last name is Tatsuno). He provided his own research on the legend behind the name of Tatsuno and what distinguished it from another Tatsuno town in Nagano. We toured Kamo Jinja shrine, Tatsuno Castle and other points of interest. When we returned to Himeji, there was still time to visit a Himeji Sake brewery. All in all a great tour with much detailed insights and information from Noboru. He was also personable and easy to converse with. We would definitely use Noboru again should we visit the Himeji area.
