Celia M.

Dear travellers, My name is Celia and for over 15 years I have been researching, guiding and teaching others about Berlin. I specialise in German history and culture, particularly throughout the 20th century, with a special interest in German cinema and music. I offer private, bespoke tours tailored to visitors’ interests and needs. Understanding Berlin’s history is essential to understanding the history of Europe: from the rise and fall of the German Empire, through the 1920s and cabaret culture, to Nazism and the aftermath of World War Two with the division and Reunification of Germany. Berlin today is the result of complex historical processes that make it a fascinating city. Would you like to come and explore it? I can help you do just that. Tell me what interests you have and we can plan the route and focus on the topics you’d most like to explore. Thank you for choosing my tours!

I am a professional guide who has been leading tours throughout Germany for the last five years. I am a military historian passionate about sharing my knowledge with others. I hope you will join me on this special journey through time. You'll learn about the key events that shaped Berlin during the war years and see firsthand how the city has changed in the seventy years since the conflict ended. It's sure to be a memorable experience. So please, join us as we explore one of the most fascinating cities in the world. Thank you for choosing our tour!

Berliner since 1988 - I was here when the wall fell and I never left. Came here on the traces of David Bowie, settled, did 44 jobs and raised 2 kids. History is my passion as well as storytelling. With me you can get a deep dive in this city full of history. I do Prussia, 3rd Reich, Cold War, Socialist traces and tours to graveyards, concentration camp memorial sites and battlefields. We can walk, use public transport or car.

Kai A.

We are a group of three guides offering tours in English, German, and Spanish. Our tour style is informative yet untraditional and alternative. We like to believe that the tours are a walking comedy show, but you'll have to join us and confirm this! As fellow traveler myself, we created the experience I would enjoy when visiting a new city - a fun, uncensored look at history!
