Hello everyone!!! My name is José and I'm official Tour Guide in Spain!!! I was born and raised in Madrid and I really love my city, I would like you to join me in a tour around the Medieval Madrid,. a spot really unknown even for the citizens of my town which was the core of Madrid!!! You will not regret the experience.
You will also have the chance of getting to know other places of my beautiful hometown and the surrounding areas of Madrid, such as Alcalá de Henares (World Heritage by the UNESCO), San Lorenzo del Escorial and Aranjuez.

Neither price of public transport in order to get to the main spots nor the meals price are included in the tours.
Visits to certain monuments are not part of the itinerary to follow due to their visits policy .

Madrid of the Habsburg
Madrid became the capital of Spain in the 16th century. This happened while the Spanish Empire was reaching its largest dimension. This was a kingdom where German, Spanish and Portuguese territories were part of one single empire. At the same time, Spanish culture reached its utmost splendor, an era called “El Siglo de Oro” (The Golden Century), that in fact spread along not just one century but two, the 16th and 17 th centuries.

Walking by "Paseo de la Castellana" is synonym of " Little Manhattan". In this tour you will discover the highest buildings of my city. If you are a passionate lover of skyscrapers and modern architecture this is your tour.
Quinta de la Fuente del Berro Park
Most of locals in Madrid love to spend their free time in our green areas. I would like to introduce you a park called " Quinta de la Fuente del Berro" , a garden which is a little bit retired from the main touristic spots of my city, but that is worth to be seen.

Dear José, thank you so much for this tour. My friends and I have been delighted with the tour and your interesting and amenable explanations. We had been to Madrid in the past and visited other more known sites like Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol, even walked through some of the streets in today’s visit but were completely unaware of the rich history and legends hidden in buildings and streets. What a wonderful time travel from the foundation of the city to the fifteenth century and beyond. And so many artists, regular folks and royalty Interplaying. I am definitely talk to my friends about Las Vistillas, San Isidro, The Moorish and Christian walls and recommend you as their guide when they visit Madrid. We took plenty of pictures but would like to see yours as well. Best wishes and hope to engage with you on our next trip to Madrid.
