I have always thought that knowing different cultures unites us and makes us grow. I have lived in the UK for 15 years, mainly in London and Bristol, and have worked as a tour guide in Barcelona, but am now based in Madrid. Spain was the penultimate territory of the Atlantic World to definitively abandon slavery. We can also have a look over the roofs of Madrid from special viewpoints and taste the authentic gastronomy and wines in town. In the cities around Madrid you will see a different place. Much smaller, more quiet and with an amazing and still touchable history. Cities that ruled the region and Spain thousand years ago, when Madrid did not even exist.
