About Tour Guide Horváth Á.

Born and raised in Budapest, I’m a 37-year-old licensed professional tour guide who lives and breathes the city every day! I started guiding 7 years ago as a passionate traveler and Budapest local myself, and I was eager to share my love and enthusiasm for this very special European city. Being an adventurer myself, I’ve lived in 5 different cities across Europe and Asia, and I also travel a lot in my free time, so I know exactly what it's like to arrive in a city as a stranger, wanting to learn and soak it all up! I can completely customize the tour according to your needs and interests, and I am ready to answer any question you might have, from politics through local life to history and architecture. I used to work as a gastronomy journalist, so in case you’re a foodie, I’m your person as well!:) I have been guiding private tours for 7 years daily, but I’m still very passionate and excited about meeting people from all over the world every day and getting to know them while showing them my culture, so you can rest assured that we’ll say goodbye as friends at the end of the tour!:)
