Dear Maggie, First of all, I truly want to say how sorry I am that you had such a frustrating experience. I completely understand how disappointing it must have felt. I would also like to kindly clarify the situation, as I have only recently regained access to my guide account and am now finally able to respond to your review. At the time of your booking in September, I had already stopped working in Barcelona starting in August due to health reasons and was temporarily out of the country. Before, I informed the company that I was unavailable to work anymore on the platform for some period of time and thought they would either assign another guide for you or to contact you directly to confirm the cancellation. Unfortunately, it seems there was a slight miscommunication on my and the company’s side, and this was not properly coordinated. Please know that I would never intentionally miss a tour. I always aim to create thoughtful, well-organized, and meaningful unique experiences for my guests, which makes me especially sad that this situation happened. The company later confirmed to me that the refund was processed, and I sincerely hope you received it without further inconvenience.
