Hello.I'm Masami! I work as a freelance translator and usually work in my room, but I would like to offer my assistance as an interpreter to foreigners who visit my beautiful home town Naruto, so I got National Guide Certificate.
Naruto is very famous for the whirlpools which can be observed from ships, or from the Naruto Bridge spanning the Naruto Strait. And the Naruto Park also has a number of sightseeing points to enjoy. One of them is Otsuka Museum of Art. This museum reproduced masterpaintings in Western Art on ceramic boards in the identical sizes of the originals and Its collection consists more than 1000. In addition, Naruto is home to the first and second pilgrimage sites of the Shikoku Eighty-Eight Temple Pilgrimage. In the surrounding areas, there are breweries that produce sake and soy sauce using traditional methods.
Would you like to enjoy Naruto with me? I look forward to your visit.
Hola. ¡Soy Masami!
Espero tu visita.

“Had a Great Day with Masami”
Masami's knowledge of the whirlpool excursion really helped elevate this experience for us. She recommended that we go out on the smaller boat in order to get closer to the whirlpools. She was right. The Captain was able to get us right next to the whirlpools while the large boat had to stay on the outskirts. It was exciting and fun. She also customized the remainder of the day. We had asked her to pick a local restaurant for lunch. She visited places before our visit and picked one. It was perfect! In our correspondence, she found out about my husband's hobby of wheel thrown pottery. She took us to an old ceramics factory where we could look at their old kilns and pottery for sale. She then took us to both the sake and soy sauce factories. Both were very interesting and it was very special to meet the owners. It was a great outing with Masami.

Alan-san and Sally-san, Thank you very much for your kind words and high evaluation of my guiding. I planned the itinerary with the hope that your stay in Naruto would be memorable and enjoyable, so I’m truly happy to hear that you had a good time. What left the deepest impression on me during the tour was when you shared stories about your family at the ramen restaurant, showing me photos. If any of your family or friends are considering a trip to Japan, I would be delighted if you could recommend Naruto—a place not yet crowded with foreign tourists, as you experienced. Once again, thank you very much. Best Regards, Masami

“Naruto full day tour”
Masami does not normally offer tours for cruise ships docked in Tokushima, but she helped us organise a car with driver to pick us up and meet her in Naruto to take the boat trip to see the whirlpools and then on to a 200 year old soy sauce factory and a sake brewery. Everything went perfectly to plan and we had a fantastic time. A real highlight was the soy sauce brewing in 100 year old wooden barrels.

Dear John-san, Thank you very much for using my guiding service the other day. I also sincerely appreciate your high evaluation. I hope your stop in Tokushima became a memorable experience. I will share your feedback with the soy sauce brewery. It would make me very happy if you could recommend Tokushima to your friends and acquaintances who are planning to travel to Japan, helping to preserve our traditional culture.Once again, thank you very much. Sincerely yours, Masami

“This trip to Naruto was very pleasant.”
Masami was very professional, patient and punctual. Each attraction was arranged in an orderly manner. The detailed introduction of the world famous paintings in the Naruto Art Museum and Naruto Whirlpools benefited me a lot. On the way back, she kindly sent us to the Tokushima Museum and watched the Awa Dance. This trip to Naruto was very pleasant. I will definitely recommend Masami as their tour guide to my relatives and friends who come to Tokushima in the future.

Weiwei-san Thank you for the great review. I'm so glad I could help you have a pleasant time in Tokushima. I’m relieved to hear that you were able to watch the Awa Odori dance as well. I could picture you smiling and laughing as you joined the Awa Odori dance. It was a pleasure to be with you and I look forward to seeing you again someday. Masami
