About Tour Guide Masami M.
Hello.I'm Masami! I work as a freelance translator and usually work in my room, but I would like to offer my assistance as an interpreter to foreigners who visit my beautiful home town Naruto, so I got National Guide Certificate.
Naruto is very famous for the whirlpools which can be observed from ships, or from the Naruto Bridge spanning the Naruto Strait. And the Naruto Park also has a number of sightseeing points to enjoy. One of them is Otsuka Museum of Art. This museum reproduced masterpaintings in Western Art on ceramic boards in the identical sizes of the originals and Its collection consists more than 1000. In addition, Naruto is home to the first and second pilgrimage sites of the Shikoku Eighty-Eight Temple Pilgrimage. In the surrounding areas, there are breweries that produce sake and soy sauce using traditional methods.
Would you like to enjoy Naruto with me? I look forward to your visit.
Hola. ¡Soy Masami!
Espero tu visita.

“Excellent day in Naruto seeing whirlpools and art”
Thanks to Masami-san, I had a great day in Naruto, first seeing the whirlpools from a bridge as well as on a boat, and then visiting the astounding Otsuka Museum of Art. Masami-san made everything stress free, and had excellent communication with me when making arrangements for this tour. It would be very easy to spend a full day at the museum! Masami-san knows the museum very well, so we did get to see a lot during the several hours spent there. Masami-san had a lot of interesting information to share about both the whirlpools and the museum during the tour. She is an excellent guide! Highly recommended!

“Excellent Correspondence with Masami M ”
Unfortunately, due to the weather our port call to Tokushima was canceled. We were so sorry not to meet Masami in person and see Naruto. However, in planning our tour day she was so helpful, include help in arranging for a taxi. Communication with her was so personable that I felt like I was writing to a good friend. Although we were not able to meet and tour with Masami, based on the wonderful communication I had with her, I am sure that anyone touring with Masami will have a great experience.

Dear Marilyn-san, Thank you very much for your wonderful review. I truly enjoyed our message exchanges, and I was really looking forward to meeting you in person. That is why I feel very sorry that the cruise ship was unable to dock due to the bad weather and that I could not meet you and provide the tour. I will keep your kind words in mind and continue to do my best to assist my guests with care and attention. If you visit Japan again in the future, I would very much like to meet you next time. Thank you again. Warm regards, Masami

“Beautiful day visiting temples and whirlpool”
The day started with Masami meeting me at Ikenotani Station. The weather was clear, but Naruto’s wind certainly made it feel chilly. We visited Ooasahiko-jinja, Ryozen-ji and Gokuraku-ji. Masami demonstrated the proper temple etiquette. The view of Onaruto-kyo bridge was stunning with the whirlpool swirling beneath it. The close-up on the Uzushio cruise was even better. Thank you Masami for a wonderful day.
