Hello, I'm HIDEo YOSHIda. Please call me HIDEYOSHI, the same name as the famous shogun who built the Osaka Castle in 1585. I was born in Kobe and worked in Osaka for nearly 40 years. I would like to introduce the Kansai region to you ,including Kobe, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Wakayama. Kobe is one of the two largest ports in Japan, along with Yokohama. After the opening of the Port of Kobe in 1868, foreigners built their residences on the hillside of the Kitano-cho area, overlooking the ocean. Many of the foreign residences are now open to the public as museums, including the Weathercock House, with it's symbol weathercock on the triangle-shaped roof. In Meriken Park, the red Port Tower (the city's landmark), creates a beautiful contrast against the white Kobe Marine Museum. The museum's design was inspired by the waves and sailing ships. When you have a chance to visit Osaka, please join my tour. I'm sure you'll enjoy the interesting and historical, scenic spots. For example, Shin-Sekai is a downtown area with a strange mix of nostalgic atmosphere and contemporary energy. You can try local foods (kushikatsu, sushi, tempura) at a reasonable price. Billiken (a famous statue of the spirit of luck) will be waiting for you!!. Dotombori is a popular street with a lot of flashy signboards. Osaka is widely known as a "Kuidaore-no-machi", or literally "drinking and eating luxuriously to death." Osaka Castle was built by Toyotomi HIDEYOSHI in 1585. Oh, it's my residence, isn't it ! These days "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" area in USJ, or Universal Studios Japan, is also attracting more and more people. I'll be looking forward to seeing you !!

Hello.I'm Masami! I work as a freelance translator and usually work in my room, but I would like to offer my assistance as an interpreter to foreigners who visit my beautiful home town Naruto, so I got National Guide Certificate. Naruto is very famous for the whirlpools which can be observed from ships, or from the Naruto Bridge spanning the Naruto Strait. And the Naruto Park also has a number of sightseeing points to enjoy. One of them is Otsuka Museum of Art. This museum reproduced masterpaintings in Western Art on ceramic boards in the identical sizes of the originals and Its collection consists more than 1000. In addition, Naruto is home to the first and second pilgrimage sites of the Shikoku Eighty-Eight Temple Pilgrimage. In the surrounding areas, there are breweries that produce sake and soy sauce using traditional methods. Would you like to enjoy Naruto with me? I look forward to your visit. Hola. ¡Soy Masami! Espero tu visita.

“Naruto Whirlpool and Area Tour”
To start off with, the booking process with Masami san was excellent. I requested some customisations to the base tour and Masami san was more than happy to accommodate them. On the day of the tour itself we met at the agreed place and time and then Masami san guided me to the 3 temples and shrines that I’d requested to visit. Masami san gave me background information on each site, and also guided me on best practice when visiting a temple or shrine. After that we went to the main event of the tour which was the Naruto whirlpool boat ride. An absolutely amazing experience which I would strongly recommend to anyone ! We then had a hearty lunch which gave me the chance to try awaodori chicken for the first time. Finally Masami san dropped me off at Naruto station so that I could take the train back to Tokushima station. An excellent day and an excellent guide - thank you for a great day Masami san !

John-san Thank you very much for giving such a high evaluation of my guiding. I truly appreciate your kind words. During the tour, I was also grateful for your kindness and thoughtfulness. It was wonderful that the weather turned out so nice, especially after the cold day before. I’m very happy to know that you especially enjoyed the whirlpool cruise. Naruto is still a hidden gem with few inbound visitors, where people can experience both nature and history at a relaxed pace. I would be delighted if you could recommend it to your friends and family as well. I wish you a safe journey back home and many more enjoyable experiences during your stay in Japan. Once again, thank you very much for everything. Warm regards, Masami

“Fabulous day with Sanjay”
We had the most amazing day with Sanjay, who took us from the cruise ship in Tokushima around the North-East part of Shikoku. We planned where we wanted to go ahead of time, sent our itinerary and was warned the driver was not a guide and doesn't speak English. However, our driver was the most delightful, wonderful person. Sanjay spoke with us through a translation app, and called places ahead of time for us to confirm reservations. Sanjay made the day even better for us. The van was also perfect, with lots of space and was very comfortable. I highly recommend the GoWithGuide company, Woo (the person who arranged things pre-trip) and our wonderful driver Sanjay.

Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We are happy to hear that you had a great day with Sanjay. We will share your message with our team. It will be a nice encouragement for everyone, especially Sanjay and Woo. Thank you again for choosing us.

“We were under the impression that a museum visit was included; however, when we arrived, it was closed. I had hoped the guide would have been aware of the national holiday before scheduling the visit.”
As I mentioned, we were charged more than the agreed amount, and the guide seemed to be rushing a bit during the tour.

Thank you for your review. Yes, I have to deeply appologize you the museum was closed. The day was Tuesday, so I thought it was open but Monday was National holiday, so the following day it was closed. By the way I'm sure you enjoyed Awaodori dance and Naruto whirlpool. On the following day we could meet at Himeji port. I'm sure you enjoy Japan trip. I wish you all the best.
