Naruto One Day Tour

I will take you by car to the highlights of Naruto City, including the whirlpools, the oldest sake and soy sauce breweries in Tokushima Prefecture, all in a single day. For lunch, we will visit the popular Roadside Station, Kurukuru Naruto. During the trip, I will drive along scenic coastal roads.My car is a mini car and it seats 4 people (3 besides me).

Meeting Point
JR Naruto Station OR Naruto City Tourist Information Centre
- - The meeting point is at the entrance of JR Naruto Station OR Naruto City Tourist Information Centre. JR Naruto Station is a small station, so you will not get lost. And Naruto City Tourist Information Centre is located just off the cable car from Kosoku Naruto Express Bus Station.
UZUSHIO KISEN High-Speed Whirlpool sightseeing boat
Ride a Whirlpool sightseeing boat. The boat ride lasts for about 20 minutes. We will purchase tickets on-site before boarding.The time to see the whirlpools depends on the time of year, so I will change the schedule so that we can board the boat at the best time.
Uzuno Michi Walkway
If the sightseeing boat does not depart due to bad weather, we will go to Uzuno Michi Walkway as an alternative. Naruto Strait and the whirlpools can be viewed from the promenade under the Onaruto Bridge.Whirlpools can be seen from the walkway under the Onaruto Bridge at a 45-meter high viewpoint.
Roadside Station Kurukuru Naruto
This rest stop promotes the specialties of Tokushima Prefecture through its food markets, shops, and restaurants. Try “Naruto Kintoki” sweet potatoes, sea bream, lotus root, and local sweets, and purchase packaged snacks and souvenirs to bring back home

Visit Fukuju Soy Sauce, soy sauce tasting and shopping
Honke Matsuura Brewing Co
Visit Honke Matsuura Brewing Co, sake tasting and shopping.
Ryozen-ji and Gokuraku-ji Temples and Ooasahiko-jinnja Shrine.
If we are unable to make reservations at the sake and soy sauce breweries, we will visit Temple Number One and Two of The Shikoku Pilgrimage, Ryozen-ji and Gokuraku-ji, and the Number One Shrine in Awa (Tokushima's pre-modern domain), Ooasahiko-jinnja shrine.

Tour Important Information
* Please make your reservation at least one week prior to your desired date.
* On the day of the tour, please come in comfortable walking shoes.
* Sightseeing boat operations may be canceled without prior notice due to sudden changes in weather and sea conditions.
* If the sightseeing boat does not depart due to bad weather, we will go to Uzuno Michi Walkway as an alternative. Naruto Strait and the whirlpools can be viewed from the promenade under the Onaruto Bridge.
* The time to see the whirlpools depends on the time of year, so I will change the schedule so that I can board the boat at the best time.
* For each respective brewery, advance booking is required, so please make sure to inform me of your desired date through a message before making a reservation.
* If we are unable to make reservations at the sake and soy sauce breweries, we will visit Temple Number One and Two of The Shikoku Pilgrimage and
* Those under the age of 20 are not allowed to sample sake.

Naruto is very famous for the whirlpools which can be observed from ships, or from the Naruto Bridge spanning the Naruto Strait.And the Naruto Park also has a number of sightseeing points to enjoy. One of them is Otsuka Museum of Art. This museum reproduced masterpaintings in Western Art on ceramic boards in the identical sizes of the originals and Its collection consists more than 1000. In addition, Naruto is home to the first and second pilgrimage sites of the Shikoku Eighty-Eight Temple Pilgrimage. In the surrounding areas, there are breweries that produce sake and soy sauce using traditional methods.

Otsuka Museum of Art and Naruto Whirlpools Sightseeing Boat Tour
“This trip to Naruto was very pleasant.”
Masami was very professional, patient and punctual. Each attraction was arranged in an orderly manner. The detailed introduction of the world famous paintings in the Naruto Art Museum and Naruto Whirlpools benefited me a lot. On the way back, she kindly sent us to the Tokushima Museum and watched the Awa Dance. This trip to Naruto was very pleasant. I will definitely recommend Masami as their tour guide to my relatives and friends who come to Tokushima in the future.

Honke Matsuura Shozo OR Fukuju Shoyu, and Ryozen-ji and Gokuraku-ji of the Shikoku Pilgrimage
“Memorable experience”
We travelled Japan for 3 weeks from Tokyo to Hiroshima via Shikoku and the most memorable part of our trip was the walk of 88 Pilgrimage route with Masami. We also asked her to include the visit to a sake brewery on the way and it was quite interesting. Highly recommendable off-the-beaten-track tour ! Thanks Masami !
