Hi! My name is Ines and I would be thrilled to be your guide in the Lisbon area. I studied history of art, holding both a degree and a masters, and have 10 years of experience as a tour guide. I am passionate about art, architecture, history and culture. Whereas you want to enjoy the architecture highlights and hidden gems of the Lisbon area; explore the art scene being or contemporary art or Portugal’s unique crafts; or even combine history, art and indulging in gastronomy and wine tasting I am more than welcome to cater to your preferences. I am also a mother of two young children, plus I have worked for more than 12 years as a museum and heritage educator so, I am very happy to create tours or adapt them to families travelling with children of all ages.

Hello, I’m Diogo — a private Lisbon tour guide, sommelier, and host, with a background in hospitality and Portuguese culture. I’ve worked for many years in the hospitality world in Portugal and London, including as a sommelier, and I studied the WSET Level 3 in Wines in London. I’m also the co-founder of a Portuguese wine brand in Alcácer do Sal, which gives me a strong connection to local producers and the countryside beyond the cities. While wine is an important part of my background, my tours are not limited to food and wine. I design private, tailor-made tours from Lisbon that can focus on culture, history, landscapes, architecture, and everyday local life, or combine these elements naturally with wine and gastronomy when it makes sense. I work exclusively with private guests and small groups, creating experiences at a relaxed pace and shaped around each guest’s interests. Whether you’re visiting Portugal for the first time or returning to explore more deeply, my goal is to offer an authentic, personal perspective rather than a standard sightseeing tour. I look forward to welcoming you and helping you experience Portugal in a genuine, unhurried way.

I`m a calm person and I pay attention to detail. Also i like to pass on knowledge and good mood and i have a degree from Turismo de Portugal specific to the Sintra area and 8 years of experience. Regarding the area where I work and where I have always lived, I know all the monuments and their stories. The Sintra area is not only palaces and gardens, it has beaches and other interests as well. I like to provide a good experience and captivate people in relation not only to the monuments but also to our gastronomy and local handicrafts. I think the experience is further enriched with a local guide who knows the stories and places that don't usually come in the tourist guides.
