I’m Khairil, a licensed tourist guide born and raised in Singapore.
I enjoy showing visitors the Singapore I know, from the famous sights to the stories, cultures, food and everyday life behind them.
Singapore may be a small island, but there’s a surprising amount to discover. We can be talking about colonial history along the river one moment, exploring the traditions of an old neighbourhood the next, and probably discussing what we should eat somewhere in between!
I especially enjoy the questions visitors ask. Why is Singapore like this? How did that neighbourhood develop? What do locals actually think about something? Those conversations often become some of the most enjoyable parts of a tour.
