One of the most popular private tours among my guests, this immersive day includes a stroll through Tokyo’s oldest temple, a memorable kimono and tea ceremony experience, and a visit to must-see spots like the iconic Shibuya Scramble Crossing and the Pokémon Center. “Tokyo, Kamakura and Enoshima over 2 days.”
Because of private reasons I found myself in a terrifying position of doing my Japan holiday alone. Worried that I would not enjoy myself or maybe even not go I went to find a tour guide and I am so happy I did! Hiromi was fantastic! I paid for 2 days worth of tours to help me settle into Japan culture and help understand things like the Tokyo metro system while Hiromi had brilliantly planned a tour tailored to me to ensure I saw the great sites of Tokyo! Hiromi was kind, understanding and flexible with incredible knowledge from living in the area her entire life. She showed me great food and drinks (the pancakes were amazing) and helped me around sites from the Meji Shrine to Shibyua crossing. The bottom line is without Hiromi I don't think I would have had the holiday I wanted. I recommend Hiromi for all your touring needs, she also helped me with information that I needed for later in my holiday which I am very grateful for. A 5 star touring experience and a great friend! Arigato Gozaimasu!

“Outstanding guide and experience ”
We were so lucky to have the beautiful Hiromi be our guide for our Tokyo experience. She was so lovely and accomodating to ensure we had the best day possible. We went out of our way to tailor the experience to suite what we wanted. My son wanted me to get a specific watch for him as it could only be purchased in Japan. Thanks to Hiromi I got the watch and definitely couldn’t have done it without her. She helped us get tickets for the bullet train and provided us with the details of times, directions and platforms to guide us the next day. It was far beyond what we could have ever expected. She gave us lots of information about Japan and its culture so we feel we got a real sense of Japan and its beautiful people. I would highly recommend this tour but particularly Hiromi and we left the day feeling like we were saying good bye to a friend. Thank you Hiromi for making this day so special for us ️

“Hiromi Showed Me the True Beauty of Tokyo”
Hiromi was an absolutely wonderful guide. From the moment we met, I could tell she had put a lot of thought and care into planning every detail of our day together. What impressed me most was the depth of her tour. She didn't just show me the famous spots — she brought each place to life with stories, local insights, and hidden gems that I never would have discovered on my own. Thanks to her, I didn't just visit Tokyo — I truly felt its beauty. Her warm personality and genuine enthusiasm made the entire experience feel less like a guided tour and more like exploring the city with a good friend. She was attentive, flexible, and always made sure I was comfortable and enjoying myself. I wholeheartedly recommend Hiromi to anyone visiting Tokyo. She turned my trip into something truly memorable, and I hope to tour with her again on my next visit to Japan.

I’m so excited to have a chance to show you around my favorite spots in Kanagawa prefecture. I was born in Kanagawa. I spent my whole school life, including university, here in Kanagawa. I worked as a high school English teacher here for more than 40 years. I love Kanagawa so much. We have many interesting tourist spots, like Hakone, Kamakura, Enoshima and Yokohama. I got my tour guide license in English in 2009. I am still an English teacher. To give an interesting and impressive lesson to young high school students, I’ve learnt and gathered many kinds of information. I also have a license to teach social studies, so I have a wide range of knowledge about Japanese culture and history. I’m sure to provide you an interesting tour.

Grant A.
Important note: I am currently not able to take new customers after the end of March, 2026. My name is Grant, and I’ve spent over a decade living and exploring Japan. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, I first came to Japan as a high school exchange student in Inuyama, a historic castle town in Aichi. My love for Japan began early—sparked by childhood games like Pokémon that were released in Japanese before English. That early curiosity grew into a lifelong passion for Japanese language, culture, and history. I hold an N2 on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, a degree in Asian Studies from a Tokyo university, and I graduated from the Japan Visual Media Translation Academy. I’ve visited all 47 prefectures and explored a wide range of historical sites, shrines, and castles throughout the country. My background in Japanese history helps me provide context that brings depth and meaning to the places we visit—whether it's understanding a centuries-old temple in Kyoto, the story behind a castle ruin, or uncovering the historical layers of a Tokyo neighborhood. If you’re planning to explore Tokyo, here are some tour options to consider: One day in Tokyo? The Ginza Line Tour offers a great introduction to the city’s highlights. Two days? Pair the East Tokyo Tour and West Tokyo Tour to get a well-rounded experience. Interested in anime? The Anime Tour is flexible and can be tailored to match your specific interests. For those looking to go beyond the city, I also offer day trips to Nikko, Kamakura, and other nearby destinations. Full-Day Tour: 40,000 yen (8 hours) Full-Day Tour Outside of Tokyo: 40,000 yen + transportation Feel free to get in touch to plan a tour that fits your interests and travel plans.

Ayami M.
