Hello and welcome to Kumamoto!
My name is Toshiaki Okazaki - please call me Toshi - and I’m a licensed English-speaking guide interpreter based here in the beautiful city of Kumamoto in Kyushu, the southern-most island of Japan's four main islands.
A holder of M.A. in international tourism from a University in Ireland before serving as a visiting lecturer in Scotland followed by lecturing and research careers in Kumamoto, I’m passionate about sharing the rich history, natural beauty, and cultural heritage of Kumamoto and Kyushu with visitors from around the world. Whether you're interested in exploring Kumamoto Castle and other historical heritages, tasting local delicacies or discovering hidden gems off the beaten path in and around local flora and fauna, I would be honoured to guide you.

With our comfortable 4x4 full leather interior SUV, we’ll explore hidden gems that typical tour buses can’t reach, making your experience even more special. On our way to the sites, I’ll describe anything that catches your eye so you don’t miss a thing. I know that returning back from a great trip can feel like the end of something special, so if there’s anything I can do to make the ride more enjoyable, just let me know. On the way back, feel free to play any music you like on the BOSE sound system in the car.
