All 10 statues in one tour. All your favorite ONE PIECE characters are in Kumamoto. As part of a collaboration with Eiichiro Oda, author of ONE PIECE born and raised in Kumamoto City, a total of 10 statues of the Straw Hat Pirates of ONE PIECE have been installed throughout Kumamoto Prefecture. The One Piece statues are part of a larger project to help Kumamoto recover after the 2016 earthquakes and are being built thanks to the cooperation of and extremely generous donation from Mr. Oda.

“Mt Aso tour from Yatsushiro Port”
Pros: spacious van for 8 of us. Driver courteous. Smooth driving. Mt Aso looked spectacular. Cons: driver late for nearly half an hour. Booking time is 9:30am but he arrived just before 10am. Not answering my phone call.

“One Piece tour”
We had an amazing One Piece tour in Kumamoto with Steve! From start to finish, the tour was well-organized and fun. Steve was very knowledgeable about both One Piece and Kumamoto, and he explained the background of each statue clearly while sharing interesting stories we wouldn’t have known on our own.
