The One Piece statues are part of a larger project to help Kumamoto recover after the 2016 earthquakes and are being built thanks to the cooperation of and extremely generous donation from Mr. Oda.

“A great tour experience!”
Steve is a great tour guide! This tour is very difficult to do on your own, so finding a guide like Steve was perfect for our planning. We did the statue tour on a rainy day, but we still managed to enjoy it. He explained many things about Kumamoto and the locations of each statue, making the whole experience even better. In addition, he took many photos of us and helped us buy the figures. Steve, thank you so much! I hope you come to Brazil someday to eat churrasco and feijoada haha
