Hi, my name is Misaki.

I was born in Japan and raised between Japan and the United States. I completed my studies at a community college in the U.S. and later returned to Japan, where I am now based.

Having lived in both countries, I naturally bridge Japanese and Western perspectives, which helps me communicate Japanese culture in a way that feels easy, clear, and relatable for international visitors.

I specialize in private, customized tours, rather than fixed cultural workshops. Over the years, I’ve guided friends, international students, and visitors around Kyoto and other parts of Japan, and those experiences have always been the highlight of their trip. Seeing how much they enjoyed discovering Japan through local streets, food, history, and everyday life made me want to guide more people professionally.

My tours focus on creating a relaxed, personal experience—walking through neighborhoods, visiting meaningful spots, enjoying local food, and sharing cultural insights that you wouldn’t find in a guidebook.
