My wife and I had a great time touring Kyoto with Kanae. She was very knowledgeable and also very patient with us. We saw a lot of great places and enjoyed ourselves. We would recommend Kanae if you want a terrific tour of Kyoto!

“Private tour Kyoto”

We had a wonderful day in Kyoto with Akira as our tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and energetic, and his love of Kyoto comes through in his telling of history and descriptions of the culture. We started our day visiting the snow monkeys, then went to the bamboo forest. En-route he took us to the “Kimono Forest” which was a fun surprise photo opportunity. After lunch we saw the Tenruji temple and gardens, and ended our day with the Golden temple. Akira recommended several restaurants and gave us a plan for our next day of sightseeing on our own. He even found a gluten-free Ramen noodles place! His English is excellent. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with Kanae. She was an excellent guide—very knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible throughout the day. She tailored the itinerary to our interests and gave us great local recommendations that we truly appreciated. What stood out most was how accommodating she was to my mother, who has difficulty walking long distances. Kanae made sure everything was comfortable and accessible for her, which made the experience stress-free and enjoyable for all of us.
