Meeting Point
Hotel pick-up
- We will meet at a convenient location in Dar es Salaam before starting the experience. The exact meeting point will depend on the local person or community we will visit and will be confirmed after booking. Your guide will share the meeting details and help you reach the starting point.
Visit Local Community Members
Travel to local neighborhoods or workplaces to meet everyday Tanzanians. During this experience, you may meet people such as a tailor, mama ntilie, fisherman, artist, carpenter, barber, teacher, or small business owner. Learn about their work, daily routines, and personal journeys through genuine conversations.

“Very nice and interesting”

Mwenge wood carving is one of the amaizing places in Dar es Salaam and we are going to see the adorable Tinga Tinga paintings and also see the talent of Makonde art. Whatelse we can find there are goods from fabric to bracelets, necklaces,, sandals and other more drawings. You might be convinced to buy the arts stuffs so you will have to buy the stuffs, you have to learn how to bargain, don't worry you will learn some of Kiswahili words and somehow get to business, haha it's going to be fun.
