10 DAYS LEMOSHO ROUTE CLIMBING KILIMANJARO

After breakfast you will start you journey to Lemosho gate and from the Hotel to Lemosho gate is about 2 to 3 hours by the car (82 km)

When you arrive at the gate you will sign in for registration for enter in the nation park then you will have lunch and the porters will measure the luggs for carrying then you will start your hike through the rainforest up to Mti mkubwa camp.

And when you arrive at Mti mkubwa camp you will sigh in at the reception.

From the gate to Mti mkubwa camp is about 3 to 4 hours ( 7 km)Elevation at the gate is about 2100 Amsl.

After breakfast you will start your hiker through short rainforest for 1 hour then your will enter in the moorland zone which you will see good view of Mount Meru from far and good views of small hills and good view of the peak of Kilimanjaro.

And you will have hot lunch at Shira 1 camp.

From Mti mkubwa camp to Shira 1 camp is about 5 to 6 hours ( 7.8 km)Elevation at Mti mkubwa camp is about 2650 Amsl.

After breakfast you will start to hike from Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 camp and you will continue to walk in the moorland zone up to Shira 2 and you will enjoy to see good view of the peak of the roof of Africa.

When you arrive at Shira 2 camp you will sign in then you will have hot lunch at the camp.

From Shira 1 camp to Shira 2 camp is about 4 to 5 hours (6 km) Elevation at Shira 1 camp is about 3610 Amsl.

After breakfast you will do Acclimatazetion to Lave tower which is about 4600 Amsl then you will go down to Baranco camp to overnight in low Elevation.

You will have hot lunch at Lave tower then you will go down to Baranco camp and when you arrive at Baranco camp you will sign in .

From Shira 2 camp to Lave tower is about 4 to 5 hours ( 6 km)

And form Lave tower to Baranco camp is about 2 hours (3 km)Elevation at Shira 2 camp is about 3850 Amsl

After breakfast you will start to climb Baranco wall up to the top of the wall for the acclimatazetion again.

At the top of the wall is about 4200 Amsl then you will go to Karanga camp and when you arrive at Karanga camp you will sign in then you will have hot lunch.

From Baranco camp to Karanga camp is about 4 to 5 hours ( 6.8 km)Elevation at Baranco camp is about 3900 Amsl.

After breakfast you will start your journey to Barafu camp or base camp and you will continue to walk in short moorland zone for 1 hour up to Alpine desert.

When you arrive at Barafu camp you will sign in then you will get lunch and after lunch you will rest untill dinner and you will have dinner earlier because you will need to sleep for few hours for the Summit night.

From Karanga camp to Base camp is about 4 to 5 hours ( 6 km)Elevation at Karanga camp is about 3995 Amsl.

After short breakfast you will start to Summit and from Barafu camp to Stella point is about 6 hours (7 km)

And from Stella point to Uhuru peak is about 45 min to 1 hour.

So your guide will be front of you and the Summit porter will be behind you and your guide will sett the pace for you.

So from Barafu camp to Stella point you will walk slowly up to Stella point and when you make to Stella point you will see Uhuru peak from far.

So after Stella point you will continue to Uhuru peak for 45 min to 1hour.

And when you make to the top or to Uhuru peak you will take a lot of photos with your team or your guides just for 20 min to 30 min then you will go down quickly as possible because it's higher altitude.

And from Uhuru peak back to Barafu camp is about 3 hours (4 km).

When you arrive at Barafu camp you will have lunch and after lunch you will go down to the lower camp ot overnight.

There's two lower camps down there and the name of the camps are high camp which is about 3995 Amsl.

And Mweka camp which is about 3100 Amsl

And from Barafu camp to High camp is about 2 hours ( 3 km ) and from Barafu camp to Mweka camp is about 4 hours( 5 km)

Elevation at BARAFU camp is about 4673 Amsl

After breakfast the porters will celebrate for you and they will singing Kilimanjaro songs for you and after celebration you will give them tips hand by hand.

You will have diferents porters I mean you will have normal porters and special porters.

The normal porters they carrying tents and your duff bag and mase tents and all meals.

And special porters they are waiters and Summit porters and privet toilet cleaner and they carrying cooks stuffs and privet toilets.

Normal is $ 10 USD per day per earch one.

Special porters is $ 15 USD per day per earch one.

Cookers is $ 20 per day per earch one.

Assistants guide is $ 25 to 30 per day per earch one.

Head guide is $ 30 to 40 per day.

So after celebration and after give them tips you will go to Mweka gate and when you arrive at the gate you will check out

then you will have lunch and after lunch your guide will give you diploma then our driver will drive you back to Panama Hotel.

And when you arrive at the Hotel you will sign in for accommodation

After breakfast if you will do Safari you will meet our Safari guide at the Hotel then he will give you briefing for Safari.

And if you will go back home our driver will drive you back to Kilimanjaro airport.
