8 Days Marangu Route Climbing Kilimanjaro (6 Days on mountain)

Marangu Route is popular Route which is the first Route Route on Mount Kilimanjaro before other Routes.
Marangu Route known as coca cola Route because it's easiest Route than other Routes on Mount Kilimanjaro.
And at the hut the quests use the bed and big mattress for sleeping in the rooms.

Meeting Point
DAY 1 : Kilimanjaro Airport to Panama Hotel
- Our drive will pick you at Kilimanjaro airport and drive you to Panama Hotel and when arrive at the Hotel you will do registration for accommodation then you will meet Mountain guide who will give you briefing for trip and after briefing Your guide will check your personal gears if you have enough or you need to rent some of gears and if you need to rent some of gears you will rent from our storage."
Day 2 : Panama Hotel to Marangu gate
-----Day 1 for mountain program-----
After breakfast you will start your journey to Marangu gate to start your hike.
And
From the Hotel to Marangu gate is about 1 to 2 hours by car (60 km)
And you arrive at Marangu gate you will sign in for registration for enter the nation park and the cooker will give you lunch box so that you can have it in the halfway to Mandara hut. And the porters will measure the luggs for carrying and after that you will start to walk slowly in rainforest up to Mandara hut.
And from Marangu gate to Mandara hut is about 5 to 6 hours (7.5 km)Elevation at Marangu gate is about 1820 Amsl
Day 3 : Mandara to Horombo
-----Day 2 for mountain program-----
After breakfast you will continue to walk in short rainforest for 1 hour up to the Moorland zone which you will see good views of two peaks which are the peak of the roof of Africa and the peak of Mawenzi and views of small hills.
You will walk slowly up to Horombo hut and when you arrive at Horombo hut you will sign in and after that you have hot lunch there.
From Mandara hut to Horombo hut is about 7 hours (11 km)Elevation at Mandara hut is about 2720 Amsl.
Day 4 : will be Acclimatazetion day
-----Day 3 for mountain program-----
After breakfast you will do short hike for acclimatazetion to see how you will feel in high elevation.
You will go to ZEBRA ROCK at high altitude which is about 4200 meters
Then you will come back to Horombo hut to have lunch. Then your guide will share Kilimanjaro history with you or you will go to your room to rest until dinner then the waiter will comes to wake up you for dinner and After dinner your guide will give you short briefing for the next day.
From Horombo hut to ZEBRA ROCK Is about 3 hours up and down (4 km)
Day 5 : Horombo hut to Kibo hut
-----Day 4 for mountain program-----
After breakfast you will start your hike to Kibo hut which is the base camp and last camp for the Summit. You will continue to walk through short moorland zone for 2 hours up to Alpine desert and you will enjoy to see good views of two peaks which are Kibo peak and Mawenzi peak.
You will walk slowly up to Kibo hut then you will sign in to get the room. After that you will have lunch then you will rest until dinner (17:30) and after dinner your guide will give you briefing for summit and after briefing you will to your room to sleep.
From Horombo hut to Kibo hut is about 5 to 6 hours (9.5 km) Elevation at Horombo hut is about 3720 Amsl.
Day 6 : Kibo hut to Uhuru peak
-----Day 5 for mountain program-----
After short breakfast you will start your hike to the summit and your guide will sett the pace for you to the summit and he will be front of you and the summit porter will be behind you.
So.from Base Camp to Climans point is steper and from Climans point to Uhuru peak is not steper.
From Base Camp to Climans point is about 7 hours ( 6 km)Elevation at Kibo hut is about 4720 Amsl.
And from Climans point to Uhuru peak is about 2 hours (3 km)Elevation at Climans is about 5685m(18652 ft.
When you make to Uhuru peak you will take a lot of photos with you guide and Summit porter and you will be there for 20 min to 30 min because it's high altitude and after enjoying at the summit you will go back to the same hut to have lunch and and lunch you will go to Horombo hut to overnight there.
From Kibo hut to Horombo hut is about 4 to 5 hours ( 9.5 km)Elevation at Uhuru peak is about 5895m (19341ft)
Day 7 : Horombo hut to Marangu gate
-----Day 6 for mountain program-----
After breakfast, the porters with guide and cooker will do celebration for you, and they will sing Kilimanjaro songs for you.
(Please kindly give them tips for their good work for you.)
There are normal porters and special porters.
To normal porters is $ 10 USD per day
To special porters is $ 15 USD per day
To cookers is $ 20 USD per day
To assistants guides is $ 25 USD per day
To head guide is $ 30/40 USD per day
You give them tips hand by hand and they will be very happy for that.
After celebration you start to go down to Marangu gate and it will be down hill up to the gate.
But before reaching to the gate, you will have lunch at Mandara hut then you will continue to walk down to the gate. Our drive will be waiting for you at the gate.
When you arrive at the gate you will check out, then your guide will give you diplomat. Then our driver will drive you back to the Hotel.
Day 8 : Panama Hotel to safari or to Airport
After breakfast if you will go to safari. Our safari guide will give you briefing for Safari then you will start your safari tour.
And if you will go back home without safari, our driver will drive you to Kilimanjaro Airport.

You suppose to come with proper gear as proper rain gear and wenter pants and wenter jacket and down jacket and thermal and warm hat and sunglass and lip bomb and walking sticks and long underwear hiking waterproof booty and gutters and sky pants warm jacket and long fleas and thin gloves and big gloves.
And don't forget your travel and medical insurence and important medications as Diamx for high altitude and pain killers.
And power banks for charging your phones and cameras.
Guest older than 14 years old can join this tour. (For age 15-18, per person price is 1900USD. Please let us know the age of your group to make price adjustment if any of you is between 15-18).
