Catch the Suburban Train to Mahachai

We will hop on the suburban train heading to Mahachai. This is a great chance to see the transition from the busy city into the quiet suburbs. We will arrive at Mahachai at around 09:30 AM.

Ferry Crossing to Tha Chalom

From Mahachai, we’ll take a short, scenic ferry ride across the Tha Chin River to Tha Chalom.

Local Train from Tha Chalom to Maeklong

The train ends directly inside the market! Maeklong Railway Market is world-famous because the vendor stalls are set up right on the active train tracks. As the train approaches, vendors quickly pack up their umbrellas and pull back their baskets to let the train pass, and then instantly put them back. It’s a thrilling, unique sight you can't find anywhere else! We will spend about 30 minutes exploring and taking photos.

Baht Bus to Amphawa Floating Market & Lunch

We will catch a local Baht Bus (a shared pickup truck with passenger seats) to Amphawa Floating Market (approx. 30 minutes). Once we arrive, you will have free time to enjoy lunch by the canal. You can try local dishes like boat noodles, fresh seafood, and traditional Thai desserts.

Explore Amphawa Floating Market

We will spend about 2 hours walking around this famous, vibrant floating market. You can explore the riverside wooden shop houses, shop for unique souvenirs, and soak in the lively local atmosphere.

Head Back to Bangkok

We will take a public bus/van from Amphawa back to Bangkok. The tour will end with a drop-off at a BTS Skytrain Station for your convenience.
