- Pudding Shop is a restaurant located in Sultanahmet square. It's 100 meters away from the Sultanahmet station of T1 tram line.
Hagia Sophia
Hagia Sophia was built as a church in the 6th century during Byzantine period. It was converted into a mosque during Ottoman era. It became a museum after foundation of Turkish Republic and then a mosque today again! This is a work of art with its special stories happened throughout the history.
Topkapı Palace
After Istanbul became the capital city of Ottoman Empire, Topkapı Palace was built as an administration palace to rule all the states from the capital. It's a perfect example of the oriental palaces with its wide courtyards and official rooms around courtyards. It was also used as a residance for sultans their family members. Harem section that was private part of the palace was more hidden for the protection and privacy. Lots of breathtaking stories of this palace are waiting for you!
Lunch
Lunch will be in Pudding Shop where you can have doner kebap, grilled meat and some typical foods with vegetables and meat.
Blue Mosque
It's so famous with its blue coloured tiles. This is why it's called Blue Mosque. A strongly built architecture makes it everlasting. Visiting this mosque is a great opportunity to know about imperial mosques.!
Hippodromme
It was a stadium for chariot races built by Romans. Even if we can't see the building today as because it's under the ground, monuments and obelisks which were used for decoration are still visible. Hippodromme was not only used for races, but also used as a public council. The most important stories happened in this place during Byzantine era!
Basilica Cistern
When Constantinople was the capital of Byzantion Empire, population of the city was huge. They constructed hundreds of underground containers to keep more water for more people. Basilica cistern was the biggest one! Unpredictable great architecture of the cistern reflects the power Byzantion Empire!
Grand Bazaar
One of the biggest and oldest bazaars of the world is Grand Bazaar. Tens of doors, hundreds of streets and thousands of stores... Strolling on the narrow streets of the bazaar is always fun!
After we take a short walk alltogether, you'll have your free time and we say goodbye. You can stay in the bazaar till it's closed!
