I have been leading professional tours since 2016, following my time at Culloden Battlefield where I specialized in demonstrations of traditional Highland weaponry and clothing. I am deeply passionate about my Scottish Highland heritage, particularly the history of the clans, tartans, and single malt whisky. As a local, I look forward to sharing Scotland's magnificent scenery and culture with you. Hailing from Caithness in the Far North, I take pride in wearing my traditional Highland kilt, including my family tartan along with my sporran, cravat, Jacobite shirt under my Highland waist coat and jacket as well as my Highland blue bonnet. I am well-acquainted with our Highland routes, popular points of interest, and hidden gems. As part of Highland hospitality I would be pleased to offer you a dram or two from my personal whisky collection accompanied by legendary stories and interesting Highland history. I am based in Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, home to the iconic Loch Ness and our beloved Nessie. Our region offers a wealth of historical and cultural sites, including the mystical ancient Clava Cairns, the historic Culloden Battlefield and the medieval charm of the city itself with our newly renovated Inverness Castle to name a few.
