Coney Island showcased everything from deep sea exploration to aerospace. Electricity to structural steel. Incubators for tiny little babies to towers that rivaled the first skyscrapers. And, of course, candy and hot dogs too! Let your imagination run wild with the stories behind its sensational parks and rides.

Meeting Point

Parachute Jump

- We meet on the boardwalk in front of the Parachute Jump behind Maimonides Park baseball field (which is on Surf Avenue between W 16th and 19th Streets). From the Coney Island - Stillwell Avenue subway station head directly to the beach and make a right on the boardwalk. The Parachute Jump is 250' high and hard to miss. I'll be holding up a sign in front of it with the Made in Brooklyn Tours logo on it. The address is: 1739 Riegelmann Boardwalk, Brooklyn, NY 11224 Note: Restrooms are on the right side of the Nathan's Famous building on the corner of Stillwell and Surf Avenues.
