“Excellent, incredibly informative, and professional”

Gayrat was so friendly and an expert on everything Bukhara. He adjusted the tour and pace to our specific interests, and never rushed us from place to place. Some guides might get bothered by our amount of questions, but he was excited to answer all of our questions! And, he used to teach english so there's no language barrier. He clearly has a passion for sharing his home city with others. We learned so much from just one day with him about Uzbek history (all time periods!), as well as life in Bukhara today. We wish we could have another day in Bukhara with him!

Gayrat is an exceptional guide. You will not go wrong spending a day with him. My son and I did the 7-hour walking tour of the city. He'll customize your tour and make sure you get time with any special requests. I enjoyed our stroll through local neighborhoods and an off-the-beaten-path mosque. Gayrat taught English, at the college level, if I remember correctly. He is also a certified guide and knows every detail of the area. He tells stories that bring the history alive. We loved him enough to book another day doing the Handicraft and Village Tour, which we're looking forward to. Scout's honor - you'll enjoy your time with Gayrat.
