- Or main entrance of Registan Square (if guests prefer a central meeting point). Your guide will meet you at your hotel lobby or at Registan Square with a sign including your name. After a short introduction, we begin exploring the magnificent city of Samarkand.

1. Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum

Visit the resting place of Amir Timur (Tamerlane) and his descendants. Admire the stunning blue dome and the richly decorated interior. Learn about the Timurid dynasty and the fascinating story of Timur’s tomb.

2.Registan Square

Explore the heart of Samarkand, surrounded by three grand madrasahs. Discover the golden age of science, education, and architecture during the Timurid era.

Duration: 1 hour

3. Bibi-Khanym Mosque

One of the largest mosques of the 15th century, built by Amir Timur. Hear legends about its construction and its symbolic importance.

4.Siab Bazaar

Experience local life at the traditional bazaar. See fresh bread, spices, nuts, dried fruits, and interact with friendly local vendors.

5.Shah-i-Zinda

Discover the sacred necropolis with beautifully tiled mausoleums. Learn about Qutham ibn Abbas and the spiritual importance of the complex.

Ulugbek Observatory

The Ulugh Beg Observatory is one of the most important scientific monuments of the 15th century. It was built by Mirzo Ulugh Beg, the Timurid ruler, astronomer, and grandson of Amir Timur.

We recommend bringing around 40–60 USD per person in cash for the tour day to comfortably cover all additional expenses.

Tour Important Information

This tour involves a fair amount of walking, so please wear comfortable shoes.

Some sites, like Shah-i-Zinda and Ulugh Beg Observatory, have stairs and uneven surfaces.

This tour is not recommended for those with severe back, knee, or mobility problems.

The tour is not fully wheelchair accessible due to historic sites with stairs and narrow passages.

Please let your guide know in advance if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, especially if tasting local snacks at Siab Bazaar.

Bring sun protection (hat, sunscreen) in the summer, as many sites are outdoors.

Cameras are allowed at most sites, but some areas may have restrictions — please follow site rules.

This is a full-day tour (approximately 6–7 hours), so plan accordingly for meals and hydration.

Comfortable clothing is recommended, especially when visiting mosques and religious sites.

If your preferred date is marked as “not available,” it means I am already booked. However, I can recommend a trusted professional colleague to guide you on that day, so you will still be in good hands.
