@Hotel Pick-Up in Hanoi
- Your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel for a meaningful and soul-touching day in Hanoi.
A Visit of Compassion at the pagoda Orphanage
Your first stop is Quaphu Pagoda, nestled in a tranquil setting that feels worlds apart from the hustle of the city.
The pagoda is home to 33 orphaned children of various ages, lovingly cared for under challenging conditions. Despite limited caregivers and resources, the children are nurtured in an atmosphere of compassion and simplicity.
This visit is not about giving material gifts, but rather sharing warmth, kindness, and human connection. Your presence and interaction bring great joy and encouragement to the children.
Spend time observing their daily routines, sharing smiles, and learning how this unique community sustains love and care in such humble surroundings.
The Living Art of Incense
Continue your journey to Quang Phu Cau Incense Village, located in Ung Hoa District — a vibrant and photogenic destination known for its colorful incense-making tradition dating back more than a century.
Walk through courtyards filled with bright red and yellow incense sticks drying under the sun, witness the artisans at work, and learn about the rituals and cultural significance of incense in Vietnamese spiritual life.
Chuong conical hat making
Chuong Village is renowned for its meticulous craftsmanship in making conical hats. The process involves selecting the best palm leaves, bamboo, and other natural materials. Artisans then skillfully weave these materials into the distinctive conical shape, ensuring durability and elegance. Each hat is a product of hours of labor and skill, showcasing the artisan’s expertise and dedication.
One of the main attractions is watching the artisans at work. Observing the entire process, from preparing materials to the final touches, provides a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship involved in making each conical hat.
Join a workshop to create your own conical hat. Guided by local artisans, you can learn the basics of hat-making and take home a personalized souvenir. This hands-on activity is both educational and enjoyable.
The village market, held on the 4th, 10th, 14th, 20th, 24th, and 30th of every lunar month, is a bustling event where you can buy handmade conical hats. The market, located in the garden of Chuong Pagoda, operates for only two hours in the early morning. The sight of white conical hats everywhere creates a unique and lively atmosphere. Hats range in price from 50,000 to 150,000 VND, depending on their complexity and decorations.

Important message from the supplier
Vietnam is generally relaxed with dress codes. Casual and modern clothing is common in cities but dressing modestly in temples and rural areas is important. Temples and Pagodas: Modesty is key. You should cover your shoulders and knees when visiting religious sites. Avoid wearing revealing clothing like tank tops, short skirts, or shorts. Rural Areas: It’s advisable to dress more conservatively. Wearing long pants and covering your shoulders is a sign of respect for local customs. However, conservative dress is still appreciated, particularly when visiting offices or formal events.
