Hi, I'm Eva! I've been living in Florence since 2012 and I've become a professional licensed tour guide in 2016, since then I did a lot of private tours around Florence and in Tuscany, working with families and small groups of friends. I'm still very curious and constantly learning new things about local history and artists, and Florence always gives you an opportunity to discover something interesting. I'm in love with my city and I live quite an active life, so I can tell you a lot of things not only about history, but also about modern life of Florence. During pandemic period I have finished the Wine Courses, so now I'm also professional sommelier, working in wine industry, and I can share my experience with you. We also have a nice wine cellar in the city center, where you can join one of our wine-tasting evenings. My concept of exploring Italy is doing it with taste and style. So during our tour we will have no rush and you will have an opportunity to really enjoy Italian style of life. Yes, I give a lot of historical information, but I'm very flexible and I always put your needs and wishes at the first place. So every tour is adopted to the client's preferences.

Ciao everybody! My name is Veronica and I'm from Florence. I've been a tour guide since 2008 and the goal of my tours is to offer you not only an artistic and historical overview of Florence, but an immersive visit into the typical aspects of the Italian life and culture. I used to live and work abroad: first as a student at UEA (University of East Anglia) in Norwich (UK), then as an apprentice in contemporary art galleries in Sevilla (Spain) and finally as a teacher of Italian and History of Art at Marist College in Poughkeepsie (New York). I have also worked as a Tour Leader around the world: USA, Africa, Russia and Europe. In short, I love travelling and whenever possible I leave my hometown to explore different countries and cultures. I'm an art historian. I love art as I think artworks tell stories and through those stories we can understand history. I'll show you the monuments of Florence not just in terms of style and beauty, but disclosing the social and historical context in which they were conceived and unveil the tales they hide. As a local, I'll also take you to my favorite destinnations and to some of the artisan workshops who make Florence unique. Another passion of mine is wine. That's why I've become a certified sommelier. I believe that wine represents a very crucial part of Italian traditions. Behind a glass of wine you can discover history, nature, landscapes and lives of people. If you share my passion, I will be more than happy to arrange for you a wine tasting in Florence! “Uffizi and Accademia Galleries”
Amazing. Veronica met us at our Airbnb and led us on a wonderful tour. She is extremely knowledgeable and her English is incredible. She also arranged transportation from Castelina in Chianti to Florence. Cannot recommend her high enough.

“amazingly attentive and informative!”
Eva bent over backwards to be accommodating, helpful and considerate to our tour group of 8 (ranging from 7 to 75 years old). She made all of the arrangements beforehand for transportation, found us a great spot for lunch, and chose perfect spots for us to see in Siena and San Gimignano. She had tons of insights and knowledge about the places and things we were seeing, was flexible when people wanted to stop to shop or take photos, and was compassionate about the pace in the heat and sun. I would recommend using Eva to everyone I know without hesitation or reservation!
