An ideal tour of Buenos Aires specially designed for IN TRANSIT cruise passengers. We start at the cruise port, where I will pick you up with a private SUV / Van or Minibus according to the size of your group. On our way we will visit the traditional places of Buenos Aires as well as other hidden gems that are completely out of the tourist way. At the end of the tour, you are taken back to the cruise port.

Meeting Point
Cruise port
- There is only one way out for in transit passengers so it is very easy to see me. I will be carrying a sign with your name on it.
Recoleta - Floraris Generica
On our way out from the cruise port, we head towards the north of Buenos Aires, when arriving to Recoleta area we will pass next to the Floraris Generica monument and the Law School of the University of Buenos Aires.
Palermo - Rose Garden
Following our way, we will drive through the Park and Palermo neighborhood area. A 20 minutes stop at the Rose Garden is planned. Thousands of roses are waiting to fulfill our senses with scents and colors - Note: Please be aware that the Rose Garden is closed on Mondays and during bad weather
Hippodrome of Palermo - Park area - River Plate stadium
Leaving the Rose Garden behind, we will drive through the neighborhood of Palermo taking the Libertador avenue, second widest one of Buenos Aires. In our way we will do a little stop at the Hippodrome of Palermo. Afterwards we will continue our way to the River Plate stadium where we will share some funny stories from the monuments that you can see outside of it. Our way to the stadium is intended through a huge park lane that is the lung of the city.
Recoleta - Cemetery
From the River Plate stadium, we will go directly to the Recoleta neighborhood. On our way we will be able to see the Planetarium and the Japanese garden. When arriving to Recoleta, we will tour the famous cemetery (40 minutes walk) where we can appreciate the architecture and learn about the history of Buenos Aires (Yes! Eva Peron is there).
Note: Entrance tickets to the cemetery must be bought at the place with your own credit card, that is why they are NOT included.
Alvear Avenue - Arroyo street - Lunch time!
After leaving the cemetery we will drive through the fancy Alvear Avenue and Arroyo Street, where we can appreciate the classic French style architecture that made Buenos Aires known as the Paris of South America.
Being a 6 hours tour, we plan to have lunch at a local place where they serve typical meals from the northwest of Argentina. The empanadas are the best ones you will try in your lifetime.
Note: Lunch is not included. The idea is to do a quick meal, Buenos Aires is huge and plenty of places are still waiting for us!
San Martin Square (Retiro) and 9th of July Avenue
Just a few minutes away from the lunch place, we will find the San Martin Square. Gorgeous buildings can be found here like the San Martin Palace (Minister of Exterior), the Kavanagh building and the English tower. Later we will connect with the 9th of July Avenue (widest avenue in the world) where the iconic obelisk and Colon theatre are located.
Plaza de Mayo (Mayo Square)
When arriving to Mayo Square we will see the Cabildo (Old town hall of Buenos Aires where the revolution started), Casa Rosada (the presidential palace) as well as other government buildings. A stop is planned here. Please be aware that sometimes (not so frequent) this area can be closed due to the President activities.
Puerto Madero - La Boca
Leaving Mayo Square behind, we will drive through the modern neighborhood of Puerto Madero where we can see the Woman´s bridge, a classic postcard of Buenos Aires. When reaching La Boca we will do a 20 minutes walk in the famous Caminito street and its colorful houses. A place full of history, football and Tango
San Telmo
On our way out of La Boca we will drive by San Telmo area. A place very well known for the Sunday market and its antique shops.
Ending Point
At 3:00 pm the tour ends at the cruise port.

* This tour involves some easy walking, neverteless comfortable shoes are recommended. On summer time to have sunblocker, sun glasses, hat and water are good ideas.
