Meeting Point
Hotels, cruise port, domestic airport (AEP), temporary rentals.
- Being a door to door service, I can pick you up at any place that you are staying (or arriving) inside the city area. At the cruise port and domestic airport (AEP) there is only one way out so it is very simple to meet each other, I always carry a sign with your name (or group name) written on it.
Palermo - Rose Garden -
After picking you we will drive through the Park and Palermo neighborhood area. A 15 minutes stop in the Rose Garden is planned. Thousands of roses are waiting to fulfill our senses with scents and colors - Note: Please be aware that the Rose Garden is closed on Mondays and during bad weather.
Recoleta - Cemetery visit -
Leaving the Rose Garden behind we will drive through the neighborhood of Palermo taking the Libertador avenue, second widest one of Buenos Aires. When arriving to Recoleta we will tour the famous cemetery (30 minutes walk) where we can appreciate the architecture and learn about the history of Buenos Aires (Yes! Eva Peron is here).
Note: Entrance tickets to the cemetery must be bought at the place with your own credit card, that is why they are NOT included
9th of July Avenue + Mayo Square
After leaving Recoleta we will head to Mayo Square main political center of Buenos Aires and Argentina. On our way we will drive through the fancy Alvear Avenue where we can appreciate the classic French style architecture that made Buenos Aires known as the Paris of South America (although I think of Paris being the Buenos Aires of Europe). Later we will connect with the 9th of July Avenue (widest avenue in the world) where the iconic obelisk and Colon theatre are located. When arriving to Mayo Square we will see Casa Rosada (the presidential palace) as well as other government buildings. Please be aware that sometimes (not so frequent) this area can be closed due to the President activities
La Boca
Leaving Mayo Square behind, we will drive through the modern neighborhood of Puerto Madero where we can see the Woman´s bridge, a classic postcard of Buenos Aires. When reaching La Boca we will do a 20 minutes walk in the famous Caminito street and its colorful houses. A place full of history, football and Tango.
San Telmo
On our way out of La Boca we will drive by San Telmo area. A place very well know for the Sunday market and its antique shops.
