In this day trip, we will tour around the city of Buenos Aires, while being introduced to the New President of Argentina, Javier Milei. We will visit the places that took him on his way to the presidency, and while doing so, we will talk about politics, history and Mileinomics. The final enigma is for you to be solved... Is he a genious or a frustrated rock star?

Floraris Generica - Park Neighborhood
We will head towards the north of Buenos Aires, when arriving to Recoleta area we will pass next to the Floraris Generica monument and the Law School of the University of Buenos Aires.
Few driving minutes later we will enter the Park Neighborhood, a residential area of low rises that display different kinds of architecture located in a very green area. An out of the beaten path place not to be missed.
Park neighborhood is the place were several businessmen and politicians that fuel up Milei to the government live. Plenty of stories in one single place!
Palermo - Rose Garden - Hippodrome of Palermo
Time to enter Palermo! The biggest neighborhood of Buenos Aires. A first stop in the area will be at the Rose Garden where we will do a little walk of 20 minutes. Thousands of roses are waiting to fulfill our senses with scents and colors - Note: Please be aware that the Rose Garden is closed on Mondays and during bad weather.
Palermo is the place where plwnty of tv studios are located, one of them is America, which opnened the way of Milei to the media. A funny story...
Leaving the Rose Garden behind, we will continue with our way through Palermo taking the Libertador avenue, second widest one of Buenos Aires. In our way we will stop and do a walk at the Hippodrome of Palermo. The horse racing field is gorgeous! A blend of French style building, British tradition and beautiful gardens that will amaze you.
At the hippodrome you will be introduced to some of our slang words like Timba and its relationship with the financial world.
Park lane - River Plate Stadium
Our way will continue through the green area of the Palermo & Belgrano neighborhoo's park lane until we reach the River Plate Stadium. The greatest and best soccer team of Buenos Aires (if you think that I'm a fan of this team, then you are right!). Right there I will tell you some funny stories about the team and monuments that you can find in the area.
The park lane is always visited by dog walkers, aperfect moment to introduce you to President Milei and its relationship with the dogs.
Memory Park
Following the North Park, we will arrive to the River Plate Coastline and the Memory Park (Parque de la Memoria). Here we can appreciate the widest river in the world, the silhouette of the Delta Islands and a park that was created as a memorial of the people that disappeared during the military dictatorship that took place in Argentina from 1976 to 1983. A walk is planned in the area.
Listen to Milei´s and his vicepresident's (Victoria Villaruel) opinion of that part of the Argentinean history.
Recoleta - Cemetery
From the memorial we will follow the coastline of the river Plate, catching back the neighborhood of Palermo and heading to Recoleta. On our way we will pass right next to the domestic airport (AEP) which is under the operation of an economic group that supported Milei.
Our way will continue by the Planeterium, Japanese Gardens (biggest Japanese garden out of Japan), Ecopark and the Island neighborhood (completly out of the beaten track).
When arriving to Recoleta cemetery we will make a 30 / 40 minutes walking tour in it. The cemetery is amazing and there we can talk about the Argentinean history (something not to be missed). In this place we can find the mausoleums of the presidents and politicians that inspired Milei.
Lunch time
Retiro - San Martin Square
After lunch, we will drive through the fancy Alvear Avenue and Arroyo Street, where we can appreciate the classic French style architecture that made Buenos Aires known as the Paris of South America.
Just a few minutes away from Arroyo Street, we will find the San Martin Square. Gorgeous buildings can be found here like the San Martin Palace (Minister of Exterior), the Kavanagh building and the English tower. Is in this place that we will get in contact with the diplomatic conflicts that aroused due to Milei´s bad temper.
9th of July Avenue - Obelisk
On our way out of Retiro, we we will connect with the 9th of July Avenue (widest avenue in the world) where the iconic obelisk and Colon theatre are located.
The obelisk is used as a place of celebretion and protest. Get in contact with what happened here when Milei won and when protests were organized.
Mayo Square
When arriving to Mayo Square we will see the Cabildo (Old town hall of Buenos Aires where the revolution started), Casa Rosada (the presidential palace) as well as other government buildings. A stop is planned here. Please be aware that sometimes (not so frequent) this area can be closed due to the President activities.
Sometimes President Milei gets out to the balcony of the Casa Rosada... if we are lucky enough maybe we can see him!
Puerto Madero - La Boca
Leaving Mayo Square behind, we will drive through the modern neighborhood of Puerto Madero where we can see the Woman´s bridge, a classic postcard of Buenos Aires and the Ecological Reserve. Our way leads us to La Boca where we will get in contact with the street art displayed in the neighborhood, ending in the famous Caminito street and its colorful houses (20 minutes walk planned here). A place full of history, football and Tango.
Boca Jrs. football club is the team that Milei follows. Listen to some funny stories of him when he was a golkeeper.
Congress
Plenty of surprises... we will go through Mayo Avenue, it will look like being in Barcelona or Madrid. In our way we pass next to Cafe Tortoni and Palacio Barolo, then we reach the Congress... What a bulding!!!
Time to talk about Milei and its relationship with the Congress... not a love story for sure...
Some spare time.... then... some extra surprises
If traffic is fine, and we are on time, we will visit as an extra some gorgeous buldings of BA like the Water Palace and Ateneo bookstore.
