Shoe Policy: You will need to remove your shoes before entering the Mohamed Ali Mosque (or wear shoe covers provided at the entrance for a small fee).

Walking & Accessibility: This tour involves moderate walking over uneven historic stone paths and stairs at the Citadel and Coptic Cairo. Wear comfortable walking shoes.

Photography: Photography is allowed in most areas, but flash photography and photography inside the Royal Mummies Hall at NMEC may be restricted or prohibited.

Weather & Hydration: Cairo can be hot and sunny, especially around the open courtyards of the Citadel. Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a bottle of water.
