We start the day exploring the world-famous Great Pyramids (Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure) to uncover the mysteries of their construction. We will visit the panoramic viewpoint for a classic camel ride and stunning photos, walk through the Valley Temple, and stand face-to-face with the Great Sphinx.

Saqqara Necropolis & Step Pyramid

We move south to Saqqara, the ancient burial ground where pyramid architecture was born. Here, you will witness the revolutionary Step Pyramid of Djoser—the world's oldest colossal stone structure, built by the legendary architect Imhotep.

Tour Important Information

Footwear & Walking: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking on uneven, sandy, and rocky terrain. Please make sure to wear comfortable closed-toe walking shoes.

Sun Protection: The Giza Plateau offers very little shade. We highly recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a bottle of water to stay protected from the sun.

Inside the Pyramids: Entrance tickets to go inside the chambers of the Great Pyramid are not included in the standard tour price and must be purchased separately at the main gate.

Physical Health Note: Entering the inside of a pyramid requires bending down and climbing through narrow, steep, and humid tunnels. It is not recommended for anyone suffering from claustrophobia, heart conditions, or severe back/knee problems.
