Cairo museum in Tahrir square that displays around 70,000 artifacts including private tom collections of king Tut, Thuya and Yuya. Treasures of Tanis, papyrus manuscripts and very fine stone and wooden pieces covering the different periods of ancient Egypt.
Followed by a visit to the NEMC at Fustat area where 55,000 pieces are currently on display including 22 of the ancient Egyptian mummies.

Painted wooden and stone pieces, papyrus manuscripts, coffins, chairs, jewelry and masterpieces of Egyptian art.
The national Egyptian museum of Civilization
Opened to the public in 2021 a very modern jewel in Cairo.
The display organized according to the latest Museological sciences. It overlooks a beautiful lake with an exquisite view of Cairo.
