The guide won't rush you at all! We know and appreciate your feelings, as you've been waiting so long to come to this spot in the globe.
Grand Egyptian Museum
In the main galleries of the GEM, you will find a dazzling collection of over 8,000 newly showcased ancient artifacts. Each artifact tells a part of the intricate story of Egypt's rich history. This is an exceptional opportunity to immerse yourself in the captivating tales of the past, brought to life through these remarkable exhibits. You will be captivated by the ancient Egyptian kings standing proudly in their depicted magnificent statues. As you wander through these treasures, you'll gain insight into the lives of those who lived centuries ago. Discover the tools used by ancient Egyptians for various purposes like makeup, farming, fishing, hunting, and warfare. Marvel at the everyday items that filled their homes, from furniture to papyrus, as well as the writing tools and ink that recorded their stories. This journey offers an unforgettable glimpse into the daily life and achievements of ancient civilizations.
Tutankhamen Galleries
Stepping inside the Tutankhamen Galleries and transcending the boundaries of his fabled tomb is magical. Immerse yourself in the extraordinary saga of the Golden Pharaoh, who rose to power around 1336 BC and reigned until 1327 BC. Experience a once-in-a-lifetime exhibition where, for the first time in history, the entire Tutankhamen collection is displayed together under one roof. Discover more than 5,000 priceless artifacts that were placed beside the young king to guide him on his eternal journey. Among these magnificent treasures are objects of royal splendor used in sacred rituals and state ceremonies, as well as deeply personal belongings — jewelry, fine garments, exquisite furniture, provisions, chariots, and weapons — each revealing an intimate portrait of Tutankhamen's life, reign, and afterlife.
King Khufu’s Solar Boats Museum
Another awe-inspiring moment awaits you here at the legacy of King Khufu’s Solar Boats Museum, home to two magnificent royal vessels unearthed beside the Great Pyramid in 1954. One of these ancient masterpieces has been fully restored, while the second is being meticulously conserved and reassembled before visitors’ eyes — a rare opportunity to witness archaeology in action. The museum unveils the boats’ pivotal role in ancient Egyptian religion, navigation, and royal funerary traditions, illustrating how they were crafted to carry the Pharaoh’s soul across the Nile and into eternity. Through immersive displays, guests explore advanced shipbuilding techniques, the boats’ symbolic connection to the Sun God Ra, and their enduring significance in ancient trade, culture, and engineering.

About Tour Guide Aly E.
As a dedicated Egyptology guide, I serve as a vibrant link between the ancient world and today, which is what truly elevates a tour into something memorable. Rather than viewing monuments as mere stone, I encourage guests to listen to the stories of ancient artisans, priests, and ordinary Egyptians, transforming a simple sightseeing trip into a rich dialogue that spans the ages. By highlighting modern Egyptian culture—its cuisine, music, and warmth—I help travelers feel they’re part of an ongoing story rather than just spectators of history. My passion for flexibility means we can shift from a busy tomb to a charming local café whenever curiosity strikes. This comprehensive approach not only enhances visitors' understanding but also fosters a sense of belonging, making Egypt feel like a second home. It’s a striking reminder that heritage tourism is most vibrant when we blend archaeology, contemporary culture, and genuine connections.

“Excellent Egyptologist with strong connections – unforgettable Dahshur & Saqqara day ”
I booked Aly for a deeply meaningful visit to Saqqara and Dahshur on my birthday, and overall I had a very memorable experience. Aly is knowledgeable, well connected, and clearly has long experience working in these archaeological areas. His strength is that he is not just a guide reading from a script — he has real relationships with guards and because of that we were able to access areas and tombs that I would not have known about or been able to arrange alone. The Dahshur pyramids were incredible, and the Red Pyramid interior was one of the highlights of my entire trip. Aly also went out of his way to make my birthday special. He arranged a lovely lunch, and surprised me with a birthday cake and even an Egyptian band at the restaurant. As a solo traveller, this meant a lot and made me feel celebrated. One thing I would advise future travellers is to clarify in advance whether the tour is strictly private/solo if that’s what you are intending, as my tour ended up including three other travellers. They were lovely people and Aly did compensate by including lunch, but I had originally booked and paid for a solo experience, so I would have preferred to know ahead of time rather than being asked on the spot. Overall, I would definitely recommend Aly if you want a guide with deep local access, strong organisation, and a very full day of ancient sites — especially Memphis, Saqqara and Dahshur
