About Tour Guide Nehal N.
I am an Egyptologist, heritage professional, and licensed freelance tour guide with over 15 years of experience in the field of Egyptian tourism and cultural heritage.
I hold a Master’s degree in Heritage Conservation and Site Management from Brandenburg University of Technology in Cottbus-Senftenberg, Germany. My academic background, combined with a lifelong passion for Egyptian history, has shaped my career and deepened my dedication to sharing Egypt’s rich cultural legacy with the world.
Born and raised in Giza, just a stone’s throw from the Giza Plateau, I’ve been immersed in the world of ancient history from an early age. Growing up within sight of the pyramids, along with being part of a family that includes many Egyptologists, inspired me to become one of Egypt’s tourism ambassadors.
Throughout my studies and professional career, I’ve had the opportunity to travel extensively—both within Egypt and internationally. I’ve explored numerous cities abroad including Berlin, Dresden, Potsdam, Munich, Hamburg, Milan, Venice, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Prague, and Vienna. I’ve also visited Saudi Arabia, Istanbul, Sapanca, and Bursa in Turkey.
In Egypt, I’ve traveled across every governorate and region, gaining deep knowledge of the country’s diverse cultural, historical, and natural landscapes.
It would be my pleasure to guide you through an unforgettable journey during your visit to Egypt—bringing its ancient wonders and vibrant culture to life through authentic storytelling and professional insight.

“Very Flexible”
Nehal is extremely knowledgeable and offers white glove service. Nehal is also flexible and goes with the interests and pace of her group rather than a strict program. Nehal also knows how to take excellent photos and knows when and where the right spots are. Prioritize the museum gift shops and museum onsite restaurants as they will likely be better than options located outside or nearby as they are overpriced and target tourist. For GEM go to ZOOBA for lunch. The food their is a great example of Egyptian cuisine loved by the locals. They are busy so either put your name on the wait-list and enjoy a few more galleries or take a late lunch. For the Giza pyramids, I highly recommend slowing down and getting coffee with the view of the pyramids and spending time with Nehal to get to know her and talk about Egypt, history, culture, and life experiences.

“Must book guide!”
Nehal was our guide for two days, one around the pyramids and one at the GEM. Both were some of our favorite tours we have ever done! Nehal was easy to communicate with during booking, was on time, spoke great English, and was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the sights. She was flexible with accommodating our wishes and always knew the local tricks! We would not hesitate in recommending her for your tours in Egypt. We are already planning a trip back, and she will be our first call!

Nehal was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, very flexible. We booked last minute and she was able to accommodate it easily. We had a great time, saw the pyramids, sphinx, how papyrus was made, she even helped get us to our next destination. Highly recommended.
