I am an Egyptologist, heritage professional, and licensed freelance tour guide with over 15 years of experience in the field of Egyptian tourism and cultural heritage.
I hold a Master’s degree in Heritage Conservation and Site Management from Brandenburg University of Technology in Cottbus-Senftenberg, Germany. My academic background, combined with a lifelong passion for Egyptian history, has shaped my career and deepened my dedication to sharing Egypt’s rich cultural legacy with the world.
Born and raised in Giza, just a stone’s throw from the Giza Plateau, I’ve been immersed in the world of ancient history from an early age. Growing up within sight of the pyramids, along with being part of a family that includes many Egyptologists, inspired me to become one of Egypt’s tourism ambassadors.
Throughout my studies and professional career, I’ve had the opportunity to travel extensively—both within Egypt and internationally. I’ve explored numerous cities abroad including Berlin, Dresden, Potsdam, Munich, Hamburg, Milan, Venice, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Prague, and Vienna. I’ve also visited Saudi Arabia, Istanbul, Sapanca, and Bursa in Turkey.
In Egypt, I’ve traveled across every governorate and region, gaining deep knowledge of the country’s diverse cultural, historical, and natural landscapes.
It would be my pleasure to guide you through an unforgettable journey during your visit to Egypt—bringing its ancient wonders and vibrant culture to life through authentic storytelling and professional insight.

“Nehal provided a seamless, personalized Cairo tour with expert guidance, flexible planning, and protection from tourist hassles.”
We had an outstanding experience in Cairo with Nehal. She arranged our round-trip transfer from the Port of Alexandria to Cairo—about 2.5 hours each way—and personally met us in Cairo for a memorable day exploring the Pyramids of Giza, the Egyptian Museum, enjoying a delicious lunch, and visiting a few local shops. Despite the chaos at the Alexandria Port, Nehal stayed in constant contact to ensure we connected with our driver. She tailored the tour to our preferences and remained flexible throughout, happily adjusting plans to suit our interests. Nehal’s deep knowledge of Egyptian history and her passion for ancient Egypt truly enriched the experience. Her presence also helped shield us from persistent peddlers and made negotiating with souvenir sellers much easier. If you're looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring tour guide in Egypt, we highly recommend Nehal.

“Fantastic trip to Cairo!”
Nehal made our trip to Cairo so safe and enjoyable! She was very accomodating to our requests and took us to all the key archaeological site and museums in Cairo. She is also so knowledgeable and her tours at the sites and museums were very insightful. Every night, she also gave us great recommendations for activities or food to try. We definitely would not have been able to navigate around Cairo without Nehal as our guide. We highly recommend Nehal to anyone interested on a trip to Cairo.

“Great experience!”
Nehal was a great guide! After the tour, I felt that I understood Egypt not only from a “touristy” perspective, but got the feel of the life in Cairo both today and from the time of ancient Egyptians. Nehal helped me feel welcome in Egypt and was always happy to answer any of my questions (which I have asked quite a lot of). She provided great accomodation to my specific travelling and dietary needs, and gave context to great historical sights as well as today’s notable spots. Despite coming in the hottest season of the year, I was surprised with how much travelling we did and how many cool sights we got to see without feeling very tired. Thank you so much Nehal!
