We go through an old road that was established 1100 years ago. This road was part of the old capital of Egypt before the famous capital of Cairo. Only a few people are interested in this historic street; however, it's considered one of three important Tourist paths in historical medieval Cairo.

We will walk and use a taxi or tuktuk.

The Islamic art museum contains antiques and monuments from different eras, most of them from the medieval ages, with different origins. The majority are from medieval Cairo, and the others from Turkey, Iran, Syria, and the Arabian Peninsula. (For foreigners, it's mandatory to pay for tickets with a bank card like Visa or Mastercard)

the southern gate of Cairo , we can go up and see Cairo from above from the balcony of the high minarat ( tower )

there is a lot of stairs . you need cash for the ticket about 100 EGP or more

6 centuries mamluke style mosque .The Mosque of Sultan al-Mu'ayyad was the last great hypostyle mosque built in Cairo,it contains decoration with polychromatic marble .

Ibn Tolune mosque

Ibn Tolune mosque is the oldest mosque remains with the original case from 1100 years ( 11 Centuries ) without renewal, rebuild, or Archaeological restoration, I think it may be the only one in the world with these conditions.
