09:30 AM

Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure

Our first stop is the Great Pyramid Complex, where you'll come face to face with the three main pyramids of Giza. We'll begin with the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest and oldest of the three, built over 4,500 years ago as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu. Standing at its base, you'll truly grasp the incredible scale and precision of ancient Egyptian engineering — built without modern machinery, yet aligned almost perfectly with the cardinal points.

Next, we'll visit the Pyramid of Khafre, Khufu's son, which still retains some of its original limestone casing near the top, making it appear taller than the Great Pyramid from certain angles despite being slightly smaller. We'll then see the Pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest of the three but no less fascinating in its construction and history.

Throughout this stop, I'll share the story of how these three generations of pharaohs shaped the Giza Plateau, the incredible workforce and techniques behind the construction, and the myths and mysteries that continue to surround these monuments today.

This is your chance to stand before one of the last surviving Wonders of the Ancient World and truly appreciate why the Pyramids of Giza remain one of humanity's greatest architectural achievements.

10:30 AM

Sphinx

Our second stop is the Great Sphinx of Giza, the iconic limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, believed to represent King Khafre. Carved directly from a single mass of bedrock over 4,500 years ago, the Sphinx is one of the largest and oldest monumental statues in the world, standing guard over the Giza Plateau.

I'll share the fascinating theories and mysteries surrounding the Sphinx — from its true purpose and the missing nose, to ancient legends and modern archaeological debates that still puzzle researchers today.

Right beside it, we'll visit the Valley Temple of Khafre, one of the best-preserved temples from the Old Kingdom. Built with massive granite and limestone blocks, this temple was part of the mummification and burial ritual for Pharaoh Khafre, connecting the pyramid complex on the plateau to the Nile Valley below.

I'll explain how this temple functioned within the funerary complex, the religious significance of the purification rituals performed here, and how it offers rare insight into ancient Egyptian beliefs about death and the afterlife.

Together, the Sphinx and Valley Temple provide one of the most complete and atmospheric glimpses into ancient Egyptian religion and royal burial practices found anywhere in Giza.

11:30 AM

The panoramic view

Our final stop is the famous Panorama Point, offering the most breathtaking view in all of Giza — a wide-angle vista where you can see all nine pyramids together: the 3 large pyramids built for the kings, and 6 smaller ones built for the queens. This spot is considered the best photo opportunity in the entire complex and a perfect way to end our journey across the plateau.

From this elevated vantage point, you'll truly appreciate the scale and layout of the entire pyramid complex against the backdrop of the desert horizon — a view that has captivated visitors for centuries.

For those wanting an extra unforgettable experience, camel riding is available here as an optional activity, offering a magical and authentic way to enjoy this iconic panoramic scene, just as travelers have done for generations.

This final stop brings our journey through the Giza Pyramid Complex to a memorable close, leaving you with unforgettable photos and a deep appreciation for one of the greatest achievements in human history.
