During the night of d-day, thousands of paratroopers landed in Normandy and Sainte-Mère-Eglise was one of their main objectives. I will tell you about their missions and how they did.

On d-day, American Rangers had the difficult mission to take the gun battery of La Pointe du Hoc. Here, the German bunkers and the bomb craters are the witnesses of an hard battle.

At your hotel
Guide fee, hotel pick-up
Transportation, lunch, potential entrance fee.
A lot of walking is involved during this day. I advise a good pair of walking shoes as well as rain gear. The Normandy weather can be unpredictable.
Lunch is not included but I will always arrange a moment for a quick bite or something more elaborated. It will be up to you.
Museum can also be added to the program, we can discuss this matter the day of the tour. Museum fees are not included.
I don't give tour on the landing area on June 6th and I don't go to Le Mont-Saint-Michel on Christian holydays like Easter and August 15th.
Those sites are too crowded to give proper visits.
