From swampland to Prussia's capital under the Hohenzollern dynasty, through the glittering 1920s Weimar era, the Nazi period (seeing remainders), to Cold War division with the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie, ending with reunification. This intensive tour through central Mitte covers must-see sites, giving you historical and spatial orientation. We'll discuss today's culture and end with tips for your stay.

We will have a panoramic view of the "Altes Meuseum"- the oldest meuseum in Berlin, the lust garten and the Humboldt forum (the former palace).
Unter den Linden
We will stroll along Unter den Linden boulevard to admire Berlin's cultural heart, featuring world-class museums, the newly reconstructed Hohenzollern Palace, historic theatres, and the prestigious Humboldt University.
Bebel Platz
We will see the location of the burn of the books in 1933.
