Jewish history and life before 1933 and during the years 1933-1945 are the focus of this tour with places and memorial plates for former synagogues, the killing spot of Kurt Eisner, the first Jewish President of Bavaria, Fieldmarschalls' hall, where the Hitler putsch ended, Hofbräuhaus, where the Nazi party was founded, the new Ohel Jakob synagogue, the NS documentation center, Kings square, Hitlers former office from the outside, Shalom Ben Horin's birth house (from the outside)

Former office of Hitler in Munich
Here the 1938 Munich agreement was signed. Today it's a Music school, but we can have a glimpse into the entrance area.

On these square the Nazis conducted huge memorials

The German- Jewish-Israeli journalist and author was born in Munich and left his his hometown in the 30th of the 20th century never to return but to engage in German-Jewish reconciliation

New Ohel Jakob synagogue
The corner stone for this new central synagogue was laid on teh 9th of November 2008. We will see it from the outside, on some Sundays during the year there are guided tours inside.
End of tour
We end our tour at Marien square, Marienplatz in the middle of the old city of Munich.
