Often referred to as “the most beautiful café in the world,” the New York Café is a symbol of Budapest’s golden café culture from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Housed in a magnificent Italian Renaissance–style palace, it was once the favorite meeting place of writers, poets, and artists.
