Hotel/place of stay of the guest (in Delhi)
- After landing in Delhi previous night we can start the morning a bit late and according to the location of stay plan an itinerary that is good mix of Art, Culture and History at leisure.
Day 01 : OLD DELHI
MORNING: Old Delhi shopping and exploring in local rickshaw
LUNCH: Old Delhi streets with famous mosque Jama Masjid surrounded by great food joints to break for lunch
EVENING: Tour of majestic Red Fort and mesmerizing evening show where tales of kings and queens adorn the platform of this iconic monument.
Day 02 : Qutub Minar to Modern India
Morning begins with a tour of India's symbol of Towering Pisa - the Qutub Minar. We spend an hour or two visiting the place and then step out to a modern Fashion Bazaar - Ambavatta complex that holds Indian attires in most intricate embroideries done by traditional crafts persons.
Lunch is in the outdoor restaurants of the complex as we then head out to Lotus temple of Bahai culture.
Evenings are relaxed and open to doing some activity of personal interest.
Day 03 : Lutyens Delhi
This is Modern India merged in traditional buildings that are the seat of power.
We begin our morning visiting the Heart of the Capital city
Kartavaya path, India Gate, National Gallery of Modern Art, New Parliament Building
Move over to the Iconic Connaught Place area where the beauty of white buildings in a circle that boasts of architecture of British Raj. Go for some street shopping at Janpath
Lunch at an Indian restaurant or food of your choice of any country
Evening is a visit to traditional market of India Dilli Haat which has crafts persons putting up their goods from each state of India.
End the day tasting culinary specialties of states of India.
Day 04 : Gradens and Tombs
Morning begins at Sunder Nursery aprk with peacocks strolling and you may get lucky to see a peacocks dance.
We move to see Humayun tomb around it and move to one the most beautiful parks of Delhi, the Lodhi garden and stroll over to the iconic Safdarjung Tomb that have carvings of an era gone by.
LUNCH: Various eateries as per choice of food of the traveller at India's shopping destination, the Khan Market,
Evenings are for cultural dances of India (as per program available) and then end the day with dinner at Bengali Market for famous Indian chaat and chholey Bhature
Night walks at India Gate watching colourful lights of Presidents house while sitting on the lawns, is a perfect way to say "Goodbye/Namaste Incredible India"!
