- Maota Lake, set at the foot of Amber Fort, offers a stunning backdrop for photography with its calm waters reflecting the fort above. This will be our meeting and pickup point. From here, we’ll enjoy a short walk through the beautiful garden leading us to the grand entrance of Amber Palace.

Amber Fort

Amber Fort, Jaipur’s crown jewel, showcases a stunning blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Explore grand courtyards, the dazzling Mirror Palace, and enjoy panoramic views of Maota Lake—a glimpse into Rajasthan’s royal past.

Jagat Shiromani Temple

Jagat Shiromani Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, is known for its intricate carvings and timeless architecture—a peaceful and beautiful reflection of Jaipur’s spiritual heritage.

Panna Meena Stepwell

Panna Meena Stepwell is an 8-story stepwell with striking symmetrical staircases, once a vibrant community hub—now a favorite spot for history lovers and photography.

Block Printing Workshop ( Anokhi Museum )

Tour Important Information

* Entrance tickets to Monuments and activity fees are paid by travelers and the tickets are not included in the tour price

* Wear comfortable shoes – the tour involves walking through forts, stepwells, temples, and local streets.

* Carry water – Jaipur can get warm, so staying hydrated is important.

* Dress modestly – when visiting temples, please cover shoulders and knees.

* Photography is welcome – but always be mindful of locals and sacred places.

* Stay with the group – some areas have narrow lanes and busy streets.

* Bring sunscreen/hat – especially for day tours under the sun.

* Respect local culture – we’ll interact with villagers and artisans, so a friendly attitude goes a long way.

* At the end of the tour, guests will be responsible for their own return to the hotel. I will be happy to assist in booking a cab or taxi if needed, but the cost will not be covered in the tour.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending a day exploring Jaipur with Nitin, and it was truly the highlight of our trip to India. A particular highlight was at Amber Fort, where he shared the fascinating story of why the raja built various rooms for the queens. In just one day, Nitin guided us through an incredible journey: Hawa Mahal, the Amber Fort, a peaceful Hindu Temple of Lord Krishna, the stunning Panna Meena Stepwell, the beautiful Water Palace (Jal Mahal), the Royal Cenotaphs, and we concluded at the City Palace.
