Ram Jhula Suspension Bridge

Ram Jhula is one of the most iconic landmarks of Rishikesh, a 450-foot iron suspension bridge over the sacred Ganges River. It connects the Sivananda Ashram area with Swarg Ashram and is always lively with pilgrims, sadhus, locals, and travelers.

From the bridge, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Ganga, temples, and surrounding Himalayan foothills. It is especially magical during sunrise and sunset.

Beatles Ashram

About Beatles Ashram (Chaurasi Kutia)

Popularly known as Beatles Ashram, this peaceful forest retreat is located inside the Rajaji Tiger Reserve area near Ram Jhula in Rishikesh. Its original name is Chaurasi Kutia (84 meditation huts).

In 1968, the legendary band The Beatles stayed here to learn Transcendental Meditation from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. During their stay, they composed many songs that later appeared on the “White Album.” Their visit placed Rishikesh on the global spiritual map.
