Meeting Point
Piazza Esedra, Scavi di Pompei
- We will meet by the entrance of the Restaurant Suisse in Piazza Esedra
Quadriporticum of the theatres
We will visit this Quadriporticum which had two functions in the past, a garden with tufo columns
Theatre
We will visit the big open theatre still used for events
Odeion, theatre
We will visit the small covered theatre where the musical shows took place
Via Stabiana and the old shops
We will walk on the greek transit street and we will focus on the main shops
Menandro's house
We will visit one of the main noble houses in Pompeii
Via dell'Abbondanza and the old shops and houses
We will walk on the greek decuman and see old the shops
Plaster cast and masculine thermal baths
I will tell you how the thermal baths worked and we will visit the masculine section plus one of the plaster casts
Forum and Vesuvio view
We will end the tour in the main square of Pompeii with the temples, administrative buildings and the Vesuvio view and take some pictures there
