Pompeii Walking Tour with an Archaeologist
The ancient city of Pompeii is probably the most important archaeological site in the world. A tour here led by an archeologist, even better! In the past, it was an agricultural and commercial center where about 20000 people lived. The eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD covered it under about 8 meters of pumice, lapilli and ash.
