Pompeii Archaeological Park
The journey from Rome to Pompeii takes 2 hours and 30 minutes. In Pompeii, travelers will visit an ancient Roman city near modern Naples. Pompeii—along with Herculaneum and many surrounding villas—was buried under 4–6 meters (13–20 feet) of volcanic ash and pumice during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD; the inhabitants were also buried before they could escape. The cost of the ticket to visit the archaeological site is included and also a private local guide. The tour of Pompeii lasts 2 hours. At the end of the tour the guide will accompany travellers to the driver.
The Vesuvius volcano
A symbol of Naples, Mount Vesuvius is a mysterious yet evocative volcano that is a must-see on a trip to southern Italy. The driver will take guests to Mount Vesuvius (up to 1,000 meters above sea level). Guests will board a shuttle that will take them very close to the summit with the guide . Visitors will admire the views, which become increasingly beautiful as they approach the crater. In this Vesuvio tour travellers will stay with the guide for the two-hour duration of the tour

Andrea P made our trip to Pompeii a seamless experience. We were traveling with older guests needing special accommodations and Andrea was extremely helpful with this.
