“Great day trip to Pompeii”

Andrea P made our trip to Pompeii a seamless experience. We were traveling with older guests needing special accommodations and Andrea was extremely helpful with this. He arrived to pick us up a few minutes early, and the ride was comfortable. He was very engaging and our conversations were helpful for the rest of our stay and also interesting. He told us great history and has excellent knowledge of this and Italian culture. He was easy to have very pleasant conversation. He had a great place for us to stop for lunch and had arranged an excellent tour guide for us at Pompeii. When arranging this trip a few months ago he was very prompt with responses and information. We would definitely book another tour with him.

“This experience is unforgettable”

It is a joy to say that our tour of Rome with Alvise was amazing. Even though Rome with its sweltering heat wave was not especially enjoyable, Alvise's auto had effiecient A/cC and Alvise was accommodating in all respects, stopping for a custom shopping spree, inviting and for a cool drink in a very high class district. He always was solitious for our comfort .Alvise is remarkably knowledgable, and wise. His 'associate' Fernando, shadowed us on his scooter and at the stops we made, watched over the car for us and I am sure made the proper actions to local gendarmes to 'look the other way' when we were parked in a not so legal way. Alvise and Fernando made it happen. We had a custom tour; visiting the Ponte Milvio, the church of the Three Fountains, The mausoleum of Constantine the Great, the church of St. Agnes and driving the Appian Way and past other historic sites. They made it all seamless, and I would choose this team again and over.

It was such a true pleasure to host you and your friends for a MEMORABLE off-the-beaten-tracks tour in Rome. Nando and myself loved so much meeting you and giving you the opportunity to discover some spectacular hidden gems of Rome, which are not for double-decker tourists but for discerning travellers like you. ;) Milvian Bridge where the Emperor Constantine won the battle who allowed him to found the Roman Christian Empire. The Three Fountains, the place where St.Paul, the most influential Christian theologian has been executed by the Romans, St. Agnes and the Mausoleum of Saint Constance, amazing paleo-christian sites. Above all we loved learning from you about your culture and life-style, not that different from our contemporary Roman fellows! “Beware the fine print of the agreement on Go with Guide”

We were a group of 3 adults from Canada. While it was not a fault of Georgea, our flight from Toronto Canada to Rome was delayed 24 hours due to a mechanical problem with the plane at the time of departure. We arrived in Rome a day late and therefore missed our booked and paid for day of guiding with Georgea. We had prepaid $2000 USD for a full day with a car. Although I notified Georgea immediately when I learned that the plane was cancelled, it was only 24 hours notice. Therefore I forfeited all the money and did not get any guiding either. Neither Georgea or we could fit it into the schedule. This is the refund policy of Go With Guide. Beware that you may lose your money and build time into the itinerary to accommodate delays.
